Sirio requires a compatible Touch Digital Heat Controller. Choose the ATW-TDHC when the control will be mounted directly beside the rack, or the ATW-TDHCR when the control should be placed elsewhere. A remote-control layout also requires one ATW-CWB at each rack connection.

Which collections can be rotated 180 degrees without affecting function?

Quadro, Sirio, Antus, Vega, Radiant, Cape, and Swivel can be installed rotated 180 degrees without affecting function. Rotation can help when the room needs the electrical connection at the top left.

Jeeves and Traditional use liquid-filled heating systems and must stay in their intended orientation. For those collections, use the product drawing and installation instructions for final placement.

What is the difference between a timer, a controller, and a switch?

A switch turns the heated towel rack on and off. A timer controls when the heated towel rack runs. The ATW-T24 supports recurring schedules, sunrise/sunset timing, and countdown operation; the ATW-CDT is the simpler choice for a one-off timed run. A controller provides model-specific control on compatible collections, such as heat-level adjustment or countdown operation.

The best choice depends on the routine and the selected heated towel rack. TDHC and TDHCR controllers are not 24/7 programmable schedulers. For recurring scheduled operation, use a compatible ATW-T24 timer or smart switch where appropriate.

When is a digital controller the better choice?

A digital controller is most useful when the selected heated towel rack supports heat-level control, especially on compatible Italian-designed collections that use the TDHC or TDHCR control family.

On compatible hardwired collections such as Antus, Sirio, Quadro, Vega, and Modello i, the digital controller provides heat-level adjustment and countdown operation in one wall control. It is not a 24/7 programmable scheduler. For recurring schedules, sunrise/sunset timing, and countdown operation, use a compatible ATW-T24. For a simpler one-off timed run, use the ATW-CDT where compatible.
